LBDA Board of Directors commissioned 8 Community Water Project namely: Bishop Crowley – Lukesi Schools and Community Water Project in Saboti Constituency, Trans Nzoia County, Katanga Community Water Project in Kasipul Constituency HomaBay County, Boronyi Schools and Community water project, Nyaribari Chache, kisii County, Seretut Pri., Sec. School and community water project kericho county, Wikoten’g Schools and Community Water Project in Rangwe Constituency.
LBDA Chair Odoyo Owidi with Dir.Beatrice Obingo handed over Katanga Comm.Water Project in Kasipul Const.HB County.The Project yields 6m³ per hour & serves 17000 persons.This was witnessed by Dir.Anne Michura,LVSWA, Hon.Joyce Osogo,CEC Rds Kisumu County & Erick Okeyo, Chair,NWHT.
LBDA Chair,Cavince Odoyo Owidi with Director Godfrey Kituyi handed over the Bishop Crowley – Lukesi Schools and Community Water Project in Saboti Constituency,Trans Nzoia County.The Project yields 6 cubic metres per hour with atank capacity of 20,000litres.Over 10,000 households will be able to access clean and reliable water for domestic and agricultural use.The event was witnessed by the area MP Hon Caleb Hamisi and area MCA Hon Wambalaba.
LBDA Director, Hon. Mary Sally Otara handed over and commissioned Boronyi Schools and Community water project, Nyaribari Chache, kisii County. The project will benefit over 15000 residents.Area MP Hon.Richard Tongi was represented by Constituency Manager, Mr. John Orare.
LBDA Directors, Ms.Christine Bhoke and Mr.Franklin Rono, and Managing Director handed over Seretut Pri., Sec. School and community water project with a daily discharge of 35,000ltrs benefitting 15,000 persons. This was witnessed by Mr.Kenneth Keter, representing area MP. Hon. Nelson Koech.
